As Executive Director, Denise works with the board of directors to develop a yearly workplan that recognizes and implements the goals of PCTGA, as well as approves an annual budget; provides facilitative support to the board of directors and committees.

Amy Bell, Database & Financial Manager: admin@christmastrees.org

As Financial & Database Manager, Amy’s responsibilities include working with the membership; data entry of all new memberships, membership renewals, and events registrations; providing Treasurer with monthly financial reports for review of APLD’s fiscal status; working with the Events Coordinator for the development and distribution of on-site conference materials; and other duties as required.

Bethany Dennis, Communications Manager: communications@christmastrees.org

The role of Communications Manager includes production and distribution of “The Bulletin”, development and distribution of news releases; update and develop promotional materials for both consumers and members; updating and managing the PCTGA website; coordinating and corresponding with media; working with the Events Coordinator in regards to meeting promotion and support; coordination of Trees for Troops in partnership with the National Christmas Tree Association and Fed-Ex and other duties as required.

The role of the Events Coordinator includes planning and execution of events; discussing and interacting with potential speakers, making all arrangements for speakers’ needs; researching potential event sites in a location; arranging for all related services with hotel or other vendors; continuing arrangements with the property (hotel) throughout the execution of the event; working with database and registration staff; attending the event and provide on-site support as requested by the Executive Director; and any other duties as required.

PCTGA’s lobbyist does the following: monitors legislation in the states to learn what’s going on and reports this to PCTGA and the board of directors; coaches members on how to contact lawmakers; plans a Day on the Hill; and works with members to identify opportunities such as meeting with key legislators, presenting remarks at a hearing.
